A demolition permit from the Town of Washington is required when:

  • Demolishing any structure, such as a shed, garage, or house

Steps

  1. Submit form to Town Office

  2. Town issues permit upon receipt of $100.00 fee

  3. Town confirms if the structure has been demolished by the expected date and submits a notification to the Town Clerk/Treasurer to contact the Town’s assessors to make any necessary adjustments to the tax roll
