Information needed to issue a Building Permit:

New Homes

Completed building application
Two sets of building plans. Plans must include elevation, cross section, foundation, floor plan, and wall brace plan per SPS 320.09(5) & SPS 321.25.
Site plan showing lot setbacks and erosion control measures.
Copy of Door County Land Use zoning permit
Copy of sanitary permit
Energy worksheets (heat/loss calculations and insulation R-values)
Complete fee payment

Additions and Decks

Remodel

Commercial

Completed building application.
One set of state stamped plans with cover letter. If state approved plans are not required (under 50,000sq ft), then provide two sets of building plans for inspector review. (Per SBD118)
Copy of Door County Land Use zoning permit
Complete fee payment
